Power Software Engineer - All Levels
Job Function QUALCOMM CDMA Technologies (QCT) is the largest provider of 3G

device manufacturers reduced bill-of-materials costs, time-to-market, and
development time. Mobile handsets powered by QCT chipsets can offer more

from reduced power demands.

the device development process, and develop new technologies based on the
needs and demands of the wireless market. Devices for all market segments

Hands-on embedded software design and development position programming in C
for wireless product development. Work assignments require theoretical and
practical knowledge typically acquired through a combination of experience
and education
Responsibilities Major responsibilities will include working to design and
develop software features to provide the power management functionality on
QCT Chipsets, work with systems and chipset power engineers to identify
power improvements, debug issues found in testing and work on supporting
product launches that use QCA solutions.
Skills/Experience Knowledge in real-time microprocessor-based embedded
programming, embedded real-time operating systems are a plus. Classwork in
digital communication, data structures in C, basic OS, and digital circuit
design are also beneficial. Any class projects/thesis/professional
experience in Wireless technologies like Bluetooth and/or software
development for Microsoft Windows/Windows Mobile and Linux are a plus.
Strong software development skills, C programming and good problem solving
skills required.
