We, as part of a global company, are currently looking for a Graphic /
Visual / Interaction designer to fill a contractor position in Palo Alto, CA
. The job description is as below.

Title: Visual/Interaction Designer
Number of Openings: 1
Location: Palo Alto, CA
Major(s): Visual and Interaction Design or related discipline
Duration: contact till end of 2013 (with potential to be extended to 2014
and later years)
Degree level: BA or higher
Job Description:
* Conduct graphic design tasks (e.g., UI design, Web design, textures)
* Conduct interaction design tasks
* Conduct professional video editing
Qualifications:
* Strong background in art training, such as digital painting, composition,
design, and color theory
* Strong UI/graphic design skills (e.g., 2D/3D UI design, texture/color
design) are required
* Strong background in interaction design for UI
* Smart and creative
* Proficient in using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Corel DRAW, or
equivalent
* Proficient in using video editing tools such as Adobe After Effects, and
others
* Good knowledge on 3D graphics (incl. modeling/animation) is a plus
* A demo reel or URL that demonstrates expertise of the required skills is
preferred
* Excellent communication skills (written and spoken in English) and
interpersonal skills are required
