发帖数: 40 | 1 Quant trading hedge fund in NYC is hiring a web developer to build front end
data visualization and trading analysis tools. Their main responsibility
will be to design and develop responsive websites and proprietary GUI
applications for internal and external use. The role will require them to
collaborate heavily with various trading desks, infrastructure, software
development, and IT teams, so they should have a great personality (easy to
work with, can be flexible under changing specifications, can do attitude)
and excellent communication skills. Python/Django, Javascript is a must.
Experience with Ruby, PHP, and SQL desired. We're an open-source shop so
familiarity with Linux OS (RPM and Deb based distributions) is desirable, as
is the ability to install, configure, and troubleshoot all components of
Ruby-on-Rails frameworks (Apache, MySQL, Ruby, Rails frameworks, etc).
Candidates should have 3-4 years of Ruby-on-Rails software development
experience writing Web-based applications and a strong understanding of Ruby
-on-Rails framework for n-Tier Web apps. Strong object-oriented analysis and
design skills are highly desired. If they experience writing Redmine plug-
ins, that’s a HUGE plus but not necessary.
