Job responsibilities are as follows:
Perform structural analysis & prepare structure drawings of new residential
& commercial buildings under supervision of structural engineers;
Assist structural engineers for retrofit design of residential & commercial
buildings;
Perform calculation & prepare shop drawings of light gauge exterior wall
design & other light gauge structure design under supervision of structural
engineers.
Requirements are as follows:
B.S. in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited college or
university required, M.S. or Ph.D. in Structural engineer preferred;
EIT preferred;
Working knowledge of structural engineering modeling and design software
programs, experience with RISA 2D, RAM preferred;
Ability to work under minimum supervision;
Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
