Technical Project Manager
Responsible :
Project /Practice Management
• Creates and executes project work/development plans and revises
as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
• Identifies resources needed and assigns individual
responsibilities.
• Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope.
• Reviews deliverables prepared by team before passing to client.
• Develop and manage for quality assurance procedures.
• Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored
appropriately.
Project Accounting
• Manages project budget.
• Determines appropriate revenue recognition, ensures timely and
accurate invoicing, and monitors receivables for project.
• Analyzes project profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates and
utilization.
• Understands basic revenue models, P/L, and cost-to-completion
projections and makes decisions accordingly.
Communication
• Facilitates team and client meetings effectively.
• Holds regular status meetings with project team.
• Keeps project team well informed of changes within the
organization and general corporate news.
• Effectively communicates relevant project information to
superiors.
• Delivers engaging, informative, well-organized presentations.
• Resolves and escalates issues in a timely fashion.
Technical Understanding
• Possesses general understanding in the areas of application
programming, database, system design and related HW devices
• Understands “System Integration”, “Telecom device network”,
or “Financial Industry devices”
• Maintains awareness of new and emerging technologies and the
potential application on client engagements.
Qualifications
• Science or Engineering background
• International business trip are required - South America, Asia,
Europe.
• Fluent English is must , Chinese is plus
Technical Understanding
• Possesses general understanding in the areas of application
programming, database and system design.
• Understands “System Integration”, “Telecom device network”,
or “Financial Industry devices”
• Experience or familiarity of “Auto ID Industry”, “RFID”, “
Embedded SW and devices”, “Customized product design”.
• Maintains awareness of new and emerging technologies and the
potential application on client engagements.

Software Engineering Manager (5+year experience)
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and evaluate new S/W platforms and product solutions
- Work with the rest of the development team to ensure the quality and
consistency of S/W
- Own your own project
- Be responsible for the quality of applications
- Contribute well-written, easily maintainable code
- Support sales team through customer need assessment, proposal
development and customer communications
- Work effectively on multiple projects, meet aggressive deadlines
- Understand the customer’s business requirements
- Travel to client sites to provide technical supports
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science/Engineering or related field
- SW Outsourcing management experience
- SW QA experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in C/C++, Visual Basic, C#, Web programming,
DB programming
- 5+ years of development experience
- 3+ year experience of embedded software development
- 2+ year experience of commercial API design, development and deployment
experience
- Strong coding skills, capable or writing high-quality code
- Strong quality focus with software lifecycle and development processes
- Strong math background or analytical skills
- Good problem solving skills
- Good integration and bug triage skills
- Good communication skills
- Ability to deal with frequent interruptions and changing priorities
- Fluency in English, Chinese is plus |
