大家都是做什么的?互相都了解得多了,可能更有得聊
我的大方向是空间物理,也就是研究日地空间,小方向
就是做模式,模拟各种带电离子在近地电场和磁场作用
下的运动,研究范围是两个到七个地球半径的区域。应
用上,可以帮助了解地面磁场的扰动,跟无线电通讯
有那么一丝关系。另一方面是防止高能粒子击穿人造太
空飞行器或者宇航员。
具体的说,就是用数字方法解离子运动方程。现在搞的
都还是线性的,下一步要考虑self-consistency, i.e.,
带电离子运动同时会改变周围的电磁场,改变的电磁场
反过来又要影响离子运动。考虑了这个以后,问题就有
点复杂了。
说完了,希望能抛砖引玉呀

I need to solve Vlasov equation. For some kinds of particles, e.g. electrons,
I have to add a loss term at the LHS of Vlasov equation. It may be similar
to your flux eqs. In my case the ambient E and B fields vary with
time as well as with position. And they are also modified by particles'
motion.
I don't know what's your case, and how you make your eqs self-consistent.
What I know is in my area, if electrons and ions move together, e.g.,only
E cross B drift matters, you can treat them as fluid.

I am working on computational fluid dynamics, mainly incompressible flow.
Numerical technique, such as grid generation, multigrid, hybrid grid are
my research interest. Using these techniques, I calculate the flow and heat
mass transfer in crystal growth process, certainly electromagnetic field is
also included in the model but I am not an expert on that topic.
It seems you guys have as pretty good idea about EM, maybe I will ask you some
questions later on... Let's together make this board more

现在做计算的很少不用parallel computing的

I dl empire before and it uses FDTD... If you are really interested in
using commercial software, you can try to search soft.jx163.com or
www.taishen.net/soft. Good luck!
