S***y 发帖数: 186 | 1 Seems "set encoding iso-8859-1", then {\305} can do it.
But don't know how to write it. What's the syntax?
e.g. I want to set x label using
###
set encoding iso_8859_1
set xlabel 'Distance ({\305})'
set encoding default
###
This doesn't get the angstrom symbol.
Thanks! | t****t 发帖数: 147 | 2 try edit the ps file
under Gnuplot 4.0, set xlable "Distance (\305)", no problem to
get what you want, and not neccessary to set enconding.

This is too advanced for me... :)
This is interesting!
I'm using 4.0, but by "set xlable "Distance (\305)""
I got an symbol like "-". How come?

Sometimes time is just spent on stupid problem...
I should not use "set encoding default" in my original post.
Thanks!
