Applications are invited for the postdoc position for the collaborative
research project on biomedical image processing between the University of
Arkansas at Little Rock and the Institute for Academic Medicine Houston
Methodist. The position is affiliated with the Institute for Academic
Medicine Houston Methodist. Visiting to Little Rock, Arkansas is needed
during the project period.
The successful candidate will hold a PhD (or near completion) in Computer
Science, Electrical Engineering or releated areas. The candidate will be
expected to design, evaluate and implement image object recognition schemes
for the biomedical project. The applicant will have a background in image
processing research. Previous experience with biomedical image processing is
a plus. Strong programming experience is required.
