k*****c 发帖数: 7 | 1 I am gonna attend a university in Connecticut this fall, and I need some
help to find a place to stay. The place is better in Fairfield, so anyone
knows someone need a roommate? My budget is quite tight here, so
approximately $ 450-600 including the utilities would be better. Can anyone
help??
Thanks!! | f*****S 发帖数: 998 | 2 1. do you mind share room with counter gender? if you are female, you should
consider this issue seriously.
2. why fairfield area? do you mind tell us which university you are going to
?
3. living cost in fairfield is quite high, please be prepared.
4. have you considered transportation issue?
5. you may find someone on craigslist.org, but be careful.
6. good luck! | k*****c 发帖数: 7 | 3 Thanks fromSWS.
1. I want to share the place with a gal (same gender).
2. the main campus of the university (SHU) is located in Fairfield, 3.
Transportation, I don't know yet, 'cause I have been Connecticut once for
the interview. I have heard that the weather is kind of horrible during the
winter time (compare to the part I am living), so I don't really trust my
driving skill.
4. I checked craigslist already, almost several times each day. You are
right the price is quite high, God. | P****9 发帖数: 2294 | 4 ha, that's seacred heart university, north of bridgeport, so it may make
sense if you can find out some apartment around north of bridgeport, it will
be much cheaper. in bridgeport, the north part is more safe than the south
part, once you across north ave along park ave, it changes dramatically. i
lived there for about 3 years. i don't have any bad experience there, but i
do have some bad experience in south bridgeport.
also if you live some where along park ave, you can take the bus to shu. yo | o*****i 发帖数: 143 | 5

I have just checked on MapQuest.com, yes, you'r right Bridgeport probably is
the better choice for me instead of Fairfield. Thanks alot! | f*****S 发帖数: 998 | 7 i strongly agree with PNH689
regarding bus, http://www.gbtabus.com/pages/fixedroute01.html
definition of north Bridgeport: east of main street and north of north ave.
but before, it should be east of main street and north of capitol ave.

welcome to CT and good luck! | k*****c 发帖数: 7 | 8 Thanks fromSWS, PNH689, and everybody else, you guys really did give me alot
good advices. Thank u so much! I will be Connecticut at the end of August,
hope I can find a place by that time. But if anyone knows someone need a
roommate either in Fairfield or in Bridgeport, please tell me!!
