New Haven图书馆下周五有个关于耶鲁滴水兽（gargoyles）的讲座和参观：
Saturday October 5, 2013 from 3:00 PM to 5:45 PM EDT
New Haven Free Public Library 133 Elm St
3 pm Public Talk (free)
4-5 pm Private Tour and reception (tickets)
Mathew Duman will discuss images from his recent book,The Gargoyles of Yale
University, pointing out the history and architectural significance of these
cool grotesques.
The 3 pm public talk is free and open to everyone.
At 4 pm Mathew will lead a tour of selected gargoyles in the nearby Yale
campus, returning for a wine and cheese reception back at the library around
5 pm. Please purchase tickets in advance ($15 single/$25 couple).
All ticket holders will be entered into a raffle to win a copy of Mathew's
fabulous book.
Books and matted prints will be available for purchase at both events.

今天在yale网页上看到的，是University photographer Michael Marsland配合
halloween气氛拍的spooky, creepy, and downright scary gargoyles lurking
amidst Yale's architecture. 在校园逛的时候从没注意过，比如常去的Stirling
Library有很多奇怪好玩的小细节，但没见过憨厚和大嘴的他俩：
这个是不是更憨厚，在Sheffield-Sterling-Strathcona Hall：
这是Bingham Hall的眼镜男：
Leigh Hall很忧郁——不知道这些hall的具体位置，回头拿个地图慢慢找：
College都是学生宿舍是吧，这个Calhoun College的学生缩成一团很可怜：
Davenport College的是上帝和白羊怪物吗？
Trumbull College的人妖共舞：
最凶残的是法学院！！
你们注意过这些滴水兽没有？我回头去找到了再来汇报，看看能不能找到更多更好玩的

Law School也有，很喜欢这些。在Harvard、Princeton没见到，不知道有没有？
