some reactions:
- Ben is human! he can love and feel remorse! that's beautiful and really
sad at the same time. i teared up at the scenes with alex, maybe just
because i'm a mother
- desmond is indestructible. or he was carrying some STRONG groceries, like
bullet proof milk.
- did ben spare penny because of little charlie? or did he suddenly come up
with a better/more evil plan involving penny and the child? he may have
human feelings, but

he did not do much to hurt them.
Lots of things were out of Ben's control.
Ben is never evil or good. He just does what he does.
I think that's much better than Jack's not saving little Ben.

the funny thing is not ben's attempt to cover-up, because that's what he

authority. can we expect that ben will tell us truth? never! his words are
always 80% lie + 20$ truth. apparantly he didn't expect the death of alex,
which means that he does't always understand his duty which jocob or the
island wants him to do. |

ben做的很多事情，剧情里面根本就没有解释清楚为什么。
他的出发点到底是什么，没人知道。
而且Ben说真话的时候也帮了他们那群人不少。
撒谎，挑拨，这根本不算什么吧，做leader的人哪个不是这样。
杀人，也没杀几个吧，肯定比sayid要少多了，而且我们对他的动机根本不清楚。
杀Dharma的那些人，剧情也还没有解释，根本不知道是什么情况。
我觉得他是个很好的leader, 应该比Charles Widmore要好，
只是做的很多事情不被外人理解罢了。
