I totally dislike this character and think it ruined the whole show
Lost is about nature mystery and humanity. It's not about Maneuver and Man
power!

and the creators had to make a deal to end the show in timely manner.
That's what maks Ben the character totally out of place. Anyway, he is not
evil and he is not saint, he is some weirdo which annoys me every episode.
He does things totally out of rationality. Blame those writers. They ruined
a good show starting with "the others".
I still think the whole plot is a joke at some point. But I enjoyed
thoroughly of the f

Yes, Lost is about Mystery and Humanity. But the mystery was not only about
nature, but also about human as well. Humanity also includes the dark/clever
maneuver and weirdoness.
Maybe we are expecting different things so that you enjoyed Season 1 the
most but I enjoyed Season 3 the most.

talking about humanity, Ben is more human than most other characters. I
enjoy watching how he loves, hates, lies, manipulates, suffers, and loses
his temper on rare occasions... all of these make him the most interesting
character on the show.
however, nobody can beat Hurley as the most lovable person, haha

most interesting character was Charlie who died early.
Okay I admite it, the way how Ben looks annoys me the most. And turned out
he has all the pathetic moments. Hopefully he does not become a total loser.
I do not get to like such characters in real life.
