What did they do wrong
as a company? Labor relations? Marketing? Supplier relations? R&D? What else
? Could they have done sth.
to change it?

managers, labor force, facility, ideas) they just died. elaborate on that will
earn you some points.
their range was very wide from low end to high end, but they failed to produce
some strong mid-range bikes that would sell in numbers and turn a good profit as their
backbone. this was actually how trek rose in the late 70s and 80s. trek
developed a line that was very strong in the middle (light weight lugged steel
