a nice bike rental at the expo. But I have noticed a few differences
between the triathlon bike and the ordinary road bikes -- there is no drop
on the handlebar, for instance. Is there something I need to pay attention
to on the triathlon bike? I will only be practicing on it the day before the
race. |

Of course both look fabulous to me. Do these tri bikes have the same kind
of wheels as ordinary road bikes? In particular, do they use the same inner

aero bars, go to your local bike shop and buy a pair of clip-on bars, and
ask them to fit you.
A general rule: do not try anything new just before the race. |

size and the expo people will do the fitting for me. It might fit me even better than my own bike which was ordered online. What could go wrong? :)

who tried new equipment on race day and everything went fine.
better than my own bike which was ordered online. What could go wrong? :)

My only concern at the moment is with the absence of handlebar drop, which I
use quite often. But it's probably not a big deal.

make sure you are on the flat bar if you follow someone or any circumstances
that you may need the brake.
Do you have your own shoes and pedal or use the rental pedals?
The reason Im asking is that they normally feel different and it will take a
while to get use to new clip and pedals.

I may use my current pedals. I just spent $300 on triathlon gears today and
I don't plan to throw too much money into it. Afterall, it's only a 56 mile
bike ride. It's not going to kill me to ride in my running shoes.:)

think that a bike 9 times more expensive than my own and fitted for me by
experts would be good for me? :)

，而且租车的是活动组委，不说也许不提供PLATFORM吧。另外到一陌生的地方自去找地
方买，还是挺麻烦的。
