c*****l 发帖数: 83 | 1 I was using mountain pedal(an old shimano coming with the bike,the bike is a
road bike), felt some hot spot , especially around the cleats if the trip
is longer than 15 miles. so I decided to give regular road pedal a try,
found out it is difficult to start and stop with the road pedal, this is
comparing to the mountain pedal I used to have. those cleats are so slippery
to walking on the road .When I try to stop. I have to make sure the bike is
completely stopped before I can touch the ground. |
h******2 发帖数: 1498 | 2 why do you want to start or stop with the cleat on the ground? |
m******e 发帖数: 428 | 3 i don't get what's the problem... |
c*****l 发帖数: 83 | 4 When I stop the bike, taking out the shoes from the pedal, since the cleats
are not recessed, cleats will touch the ground first, and it is slippery.
Hmm, I found this

w******x 发帖数: 4396 | 5 simple. the soles of your mtn shoes are not stiff enough. |
c*****l 发帖数: 83 | 6 recommend one mtn shoes? I am thinking switch back, it is not really
convenient with the road shoes. |
w******x 发帖数: 4396 | 7 go to a bike shop and try those shoes. step on something small and hard. of
course, higher end ones tend to be stiffer.
【在 c*****l 的大作中提到】![](/moin_static193/solenoid/img/up.png) : recommend one mtn shoes? I am thinking switch back, it is not really : convenient with the road shoes.
