was a big place any way, with a lot of flashing red neon lights. can't
remember much afterwards...

nice area where a lot of the pros were training, saw Cunego, Cancellara,
and many others. Interestingly most guys were training w their teams (
Lampre, Cervelo, Columbia HTC, etc.) and the team buses were parked at the
race, but the girls were mostly training with their national teams. FYI--
the world championships competition is based on country, not pro team.

last week i was doing my regular weekend ride, and after a couple of hill
repeats i ended up riding the flats in a small pack (4 people) including
this pro guy from Bissell

it was awesome to be riding at 28+ mph, and i actually got to pull twice for about 2 minutes each.
