to undo the link, bend the chain so that the master link and the two next to
it form a z pattern. push the two corners toward each other.

发帖数: 4396 | 8 honestly in this day and age i'm pretty surprised people still stick to push
-pin style chains.
when you get your chain, make sure the master link will SNAP together. it
should take a bit of force to push the two halves into (and out of) place.
on some KMC chains (nashbar/PB housebrands are KMC rebadges) the 2 halves
just sort of hang on to each other. that's wrong.

一般的肯定是可以重复用的，要是还要用chain tools就没啥意义了。

masterlink is not reused. it has nothing to do with how masterlinks work.

I notied you mentioned "masterlink" while I have question with SRAM's
PowerLock(TM)
After further google I found that most posts in internet suggested that a PM
-1 tool(a special peeler) is needed to disconnect the PowerLock.

if you actually use the tool you mentioned, you will notice it does exactly
what i described earlier.

发帖数: 1992 | 14 链子到了，装上了。装还是比较方便的，不用工具 。(well, 缩短链子还是要工具的)
把车子放地上捏着闸，然后使劲踩一下脚踏，听到啪一声就好了。
