interests. but nothing id decided and we only booked the flight. there are
two month to figure out a trip plan.

6 hours from seattle driving and ferry without traffic. japanese garden is
nice for a bike ride.

just booked The Westin Seattle from Friday night to tuesday night. our plan
is to hang out in downtown area Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. we will rent a
car in the airport Tuesday morning and drive to rainier for a day and back
to westin. we check out of westin Wednesday morning heading to Mt. Plichuck.
we spend a few hours there and drive to Friday harbor by the last ferry. we
spend Thursday on the island and will do the orca kayake tour. we will then
drive to olympics Frida |

Last ferry runs pretty late. It's usually a bit busy around rush hour. Be
sure to arrive a little early. You can also drive around Tacoma Narrows to
get back to the airport, it's probably even a little faster depending on
where you are on the peninsula. we have taken a guided kayak tour at Roche
Harbor and they are very good. It's probably a better option than Friday
Harbor coz all orcas are on the west side of the island anyway.

not done it though. yccyccy has, I believe.

发帖数: 13580 | 18 I have stayed in Forks once, it's a tiny little town that has recently
gained fame because of the twilight saga. Port Angeles is the biggest town
on the peninsula and is where most tourists stay, I guess.
I have only been to San Juan island once and camped at that county park on
the west end of the island.

发帖数: 3433 | 20 Pilchuck is good hiking, but spending two days in Olympic NP is better choice.
Port Angles is good, but the problem is it is a little bit far to the south part of the park. Forks is a better location to stay. You do not have too much lodging choice though. I heard the motel in Forks are OK. If you wife is fan of twilight, then definitely Forks.
Other choice are the log cabin in the park, there are 3 of them, Log Cabin Resort in Lake Cresent, Sol Duc Resort in Sol Duc hot spring, Kalaloch Lodg

It's pretty chilly here (and wet sometimes), low in the 40s. I suggest
brining at least a fleece and a rain jacket.

loved the city. and rainier was, well, paradise! the wild life there was
amazing. Olympics was quite wet when we were there. water was insanely clean
though. we end up spending out last day in Tacoma.
