然后 fixed gear是指 反过来踩可以倒退的么？
第一辆车被偷了 想买第二辆 看学校里N多小本骑 single speed 感觉非常简洁 外观
上实在是很
对胃口 bikesdirect那一排 大概也看了下 上来问问实际上感觉咋样 是不是应该跟
咱国内普通

我也考虑要不要这买个单速的。感觉上单速的外观比较简洁，维护起来比较容易，万一
出个问题应该比变速的要拆卸吧。
我看BD上这个还不错，请达人给点建议吧

you got the idea. fixed gear means no coasting at all. it's simple and
reliable, but also takes some getting used to.
no, it's not meant to be the same as the 26/28 inch bikes back in china.
these bikes are not designed to be that relaxed. most of them ride like road
bikes, with only one gear. some have track geometry, and end up with very
twitchy handling.

whether it is a fixed gear or a freewheeled singlespeed. it does have the
road geometry, thus a better choice for beginners. the chain is the less
common 1/8". keep that in mind when you buy replacements.

我看这个车的轮胎还稍微宽一点，700*32c的，骑起来应该容易handle一些吧

these are very low cost bikes with cost cutting going in overdrive.
absolutely no chance they give you both the track cog and the freewheel.

it coasts. and freewheel can be installed on either side of the hub.
if it doesn't coast, it's called a track cog. it can only be installed
properly on the double threaded side. you'll also need a lock ring.

diameter threads for a lock ring. So in this case one need to buy at least a
lock ring to configure this bike into a fixie?

the other is single threaded for the freewheel. the freewheel doesn't need a
lock ring.

complete.
i was just saying what i noticed. don't be discouraged. to a beginner and as
a commuter it probably wont make a difference either way. get the right
size for yourself, ride it, and if you buy a better bike later you'll be
able to appreciate the difference.
