分之一的经验来看，Iron distance的finisher是当之无愧的钢铁斗士。
周末忙于家事，还有给花会长观战，故事停了两天，今天继续...
Full Iron-抽筋再抽筋
高速路修在毗邻海边的陆地上，有起伏的桥梁跨过沼泽和溪流。高架的桥梁给我提供了
一些机会-我自认上坡的能力稍强，一般都在爬升时超越前车。赛段进入另一座桥梁的
上坡，我用一个short sprint又超越了三人，刚把档位降下来准备喘口气，就感觉右小
腿后内侧的一条肌肉抽搐了一下！几秒钟后又是一下！ 当时的反应是: Oh Sh*t!
肌肉抽筋是我在长距离骑行时的老问题，一直没有有效地解决，我之所以震惊是因为里
程刚过20miles，抽筋出现得比预期太早。我立即开始自救-每次磴到底时，故意停顿一
下并且脚后跟用力下压（streath)，手上也没闲着，一口气把三颗hammer pill，一袋
gel，半瓶水灌了下去。几分钟后，症状消失了（或以为消失了），我松了口气。
从高速上下来，赛段进入一个local highway，介绍书里说路面是"pancake flat" - 其
实仍然有缓慢的起伏。突然前面红旗闪动，有人适宜在铁路道口减速。我以前见过骑手
过铁道时出的事故，所以很小心地把速度降到17mph通过。刚刚过来，被前面的景象吓
了一跳：路面上横七竖八落了一地的水瓶，五颜六色的运动饮料淌了一地，都是前面的
车在过铁道时给颠下来的，好在我的速度已经比较低，轻松饶过这堆障碍，心想那些没
了水瓶的骑手的hydrate plan岂不是完全抓瞎？
正想着，迎面一股强风刮来，车速陡慢。我知道遇上了逆风，低下身缩着脖子全力蹬车
。正在用力中，大腿外侧的肌肉又开始抽搐！-心想糟了，抽筋一旦开始，就象跗骨之
蛆，再也赶不走了。在后来的赛段中，每隔几分到十几分钟，就有一块肌肉闹别扭，让
我疲于应付。
Full Iron-作弊者
赛前的吹风会上，总裁判杀气腾腾地宣布大家早已熟悉的规则： No drafting, no
blocking blah blah，初犯者每次罚时六分钟，三次以上DQ。我是初次参赛，很是担心
被罚时或DQ，所以矫枉过正，一般不会呆在前车5个车距以内，如果被超越，我会刹车
以把速度减下来。饶是如此，每次裁判的摩托车驶过，我总是疑神疑鬼会不会是冲我来
的？让我目瞪口呆的是一路上见到不少drafter - 每次裁判的摩托车过后不久，就有这
么三五个人如同猫鼠游戏里的等猫离开的老鼠，开始draft。最过分的有两人一组，一
人在前面draft，一人在后面不远处把风，看见裁判的摩托从后面接近就通知同伙。给
我印象最深的，是在mile 40处遇到的三位： 清一色统一的服装，亮闪闪的aero头盔，
亮闪闪的带实心轮子的tri-bike，一看就是有专业水准的车队，这三位鱼贯而行，前轮
贴着后轮完全是peloton的架势扬长而去。看得我目瞪口呆，只好自我安慰： winners
never cheat and cheaters never win，闷头继续磴车。事后结果，Full Iron一共给
了二十多个犯规罚时，没有一个DQ。根据我观察到的犯规状况，裁判执法是比较宽松的。 |

里面有倒霉蛋。到了比赛后段，剩下的小混混们三五抱团起来，官员们对我们这些虾兵
蟹将也睁一眼闭一眼。我天人交战了半天，觉得输车不能输人，决定骑自己的。骑到mi
90左右，看见有个身材爆好的mm，小腿上显示芳龄24. 俺终于把持不住，跟了15迈左
右。迎面而来的车手的目光中有鄙视，羡慕，还有赞赏。俺心静如水，一边跟骑，一边
哼哼‘一路上有你，苦一点也愿意...’ |

and was doing it as a TTT. Kind of wimpy to pull that in an IM.
And a true triathlete would not want to (or know how to) draft, because he
trains most of the time by himself, and even when riding in a group, he
would only want to be in the front, because he would not consider it real
riding without the pain in his legs.
That's why cyclists and triathletes don't see eye to eye. Triathletes think
cyclists are weak riders because they only sit in the back. Cyclists think
triathletes are bad riders because they can't ride in a group and keep a
pace line.

发帖数: 9604 | 11 深有同感。我平时经常去的车店是PB，觉得从店员到顾客基本上都是cyclists，这里
triathletes多数光顾本地的landis和trisports两家店（我水平没到家，觉得PB就很好
）。上次去做bike fit的时候那个店员参加过几次sprint tri，言语里充满对小三的不
屑，譬如I kicked their ass with my big o bike还有They don’t even know how
to ride a bike. All they can do is ride in a straight line.
可能是去PB的小三比较少吧，他们的经理整天忽悠我买辆tri bike（他们的主要品牌是
Fuji），最近那辆最牛叉的从5000降到3000，我的意志差点就动摇了

双手赞同老费 - 赛前开完吹风会，我担心的dehydrated的原因不再是出汗，而是流口
水。
physical-wise - 全身运动形成的匀称健康的身材。
Temperamental-wise - 超级自信（甚至自大）形成的不凡的气质。

moutain升级自己的handling skill，mountain的下到路上练自己的耐力和速度。
我还是比较偏cyclist一边，我很赞叹triathletes长时间稳定的power output，不过他
们当中大多数人的sprint还有爬坡的能力嘛...嘿嘿...
