我在想用什么degreaser最经济，又安全呢... 我看好像网上有人说用wd-40的，costco
$12三罐...

把车洗一洗。半路还得买个Finish Line 的 Citrus Degreaser。

洗得确实很干净，就是容易把油污弄到手上，得带个手套
另外每次骑完用baby wrapper擦一下链条，很容易擦干净。 |

发帖数: 69 | 9 不需要每周都清洗吧。我是每500-600km左右清洗一次，如果下雨地湿车弄得很脏的话
会洗得多的。以前是根据一个车店老板教我的用一个小牙刷蘸着degreaser刷chain,
cassette,deraileur spring, 刷完后用清水冲，干布抹干。晒干后上一点点润滑。我
现在用更简单办法。用KMG的十速reusable chain link连接链条，清洗时手动打开链条
，浸泡degreaser中一晚上，之后擦净晾干，在手动安装上。不需要chain tool.
千万不要用W-40润滑。其实每次清洗用的degreaser 和lube 都非常的少量。我估计就
是每周洗，一年也花不过10 bucks.

发帖数: 69 | 15 didn't use yours. I have park tool's chain scrubber from my AK-37 toolkit
that looks like yours but are bigger and better. I tried once then realize I
will end up not only cleaning bike itself but also the chain scrubber,
include the plastic box and brush. So I decided not gona use any cleaning
tool anymore.

发帖数: 893 | 17 prolink is the only lube you should use. it's the best. it's a good
lubricant that is dry enough and bonds to metal thus increase the chain life
by a lot. wax is dry but not a good lube. other oils are good lubes but is
too wet.
but you should avoid degreaser as much as possible because it creases
problem with metal to oil bond. this bond ensures the oil not completely
squeezed out from metal to metal friction. you can use degreeser hopefully
less often than every 1k miles. I don't use it at all.
here is how I do it (I think it's the best way). it's slower but you don't
have to oil it as often (about every 200 miles or once a week, which ever is
more. and after riding in wet weather):
1, use good clean paper towl or T-shirt material from Lowes ($4 a pound) to
wipe clean the dirty chain and chain wheel/ cog teeth.
2, drip a drop on each roller.
3, spin the chain a bit to help oil flush out the grits.
4, se good clean paper towl or T-shirt material to wipe clean the dirty
chain and teeth again.
5, drip half a drop to each roller (by touching the roller with bottle tip
before the drop fall)
5, spin the chain a bit and let it set over night
6, wipe clean the chain and teeth again.
now you have a oiled chain (not waxed) that's reasonably dry. |
