than Dura ace. There are alot of good comments on the bike review forum. I
bought one gold titanium colored one from ebay for 43 bucks, but it's
cheaper on Taobao even if you have someone to bring to US.

发帖数: 893 | 6 you want to measure chain wear first. google that and you can find good
articles about measuring wear by stretch using a ruler.
a stretched chain wears the cassette and chainwheels faster. so if you are
using a red cassette, then you want to change the chain a bit more often as
the cassette is much more expensive than the chain.
you want to buy the best chain but not necessarily the lightest chain. I
only know sram and shimano chains so I can't comment on other brands.
generally the DA chains are the best. they are riveted well and are hardened
properly, make them very durable and won't rust (good steels resist rusting
. stainless steel isn't as strong). sram had a few broken chains in the last
year so their chain isn't as good. they are also narrower than shimano. but
I heard they are quieter on sram drivetrain than shimano (although shimano
chain on shimano drivetrain is the quietest) |

chain.

发帖数: 69 | 8 I believe they are the same in Taobao and Ebay. KMC is a taiwan based chain
specific manufacturer.
I have the 2010 KMC 10Xsl chain still inmy part bin not been used. I heard
lots of good review sonline, on the other hand, Dura ace chain is not
getting good review, they are too easy to wear out. Again, it's not from my
own experience. I read from discussions online. I do have KMC chain but didn
't have a chance to use it. I used SRAM chain and 105 chain right now but my
moderate milage didn't allow me to replace my chain for now.
