a***e 发帖数: 2094 | 1 Just watched it tonight (didn't get a chance on Wed night).
1) The show dance
I like Decho Kraev and Bree Watson's dance, be it rumba or bolero. It was so
graceful. She has great basic dance training (ballet, I guess). They got
only the 6th place; i'd place them at least 3rd. If i remember it correctly,
Tony meredith said this is a new partnership - judges tend to go with the
status quo, thus scoring higher for those they know.
I don't like the bath robe couple. Yes it was entertaining in some | a***e 发帖数: 2094 | 2 2) The group dance
Well, not much to say, as all 6 couples were dancing together. Tony Dovolani
couple probably have the best basic training among the competitors. They
were placed 1st. I just couldn't help asking myself again how cha cha in
rhythm is different from those in latin...how? Sometimes I felt Dovolani
couple tried to dance latin (or, could dance a bit latin), and that's why
they looked better than others.
They did an honor dance, using "Hips Don't Lie" by Shakira. They ruined that

Dan Rutherford couple's dance looks neat - that was salsa (or mambo), right?
But her spins were not as sharp as those of the salsa champions from the
YouTube clip i posted the other day.
Austin and Liza's tango was good, but I feel their latin is better than
their standard. Yes, moonraker, Lisa seems to have grown faster physically
than Austin.
4) a question about the PBS TV show
These were from OSB straight - what did PBS do? Right, I know they video
taped the dances :) I m | a***e 发帖数: 2094 | 4 Anyway, i enjoyed the show. I probably should go to watch OSB on site this
year... |
