pants and sun glasses. general impression is 难度系数不高。I don't think
their show dance is better than the one (medley) i posted the other day (a
couple in black pants).

time to work on their show cases neither. They are always the top teachers in
a pro-am competition, wherever they go. They are the unique couple among
the pro. Ben Ermis have been dancing since 8am for about 8 hours during the
day, and in the same evening, he still have enough energy to finish the pro
smooth and won. I am not in a position to judge if they are the best dancers
, but their contribution to american ballroo

nothing against them personally, but just an observation: it is not
contribution to the whole american ballroom dancing, but just to those who
can afford.

I know most of the top coaches/dancers visit Japan every two months, but I
don't see many good dancers there. Good coaching doesn't always produce good
dancers.
I think Pro-am competition system is the major issue. If there is no Pro-Am
program in US, we may see better American dancers. With the pro-am system,
good dancers can easily make a living by teaching rich people to dance and
compete. They don't have to be train |

pro standard??? I really doubt they can do well, it is a whole different
game with much stiffer competition ... one of the clues: how many top std
pro couples in the US don't have at least one Russian/East European-sound
name in the partnership?

Only a few true dance sportmen/women will work hard enough to compete with
the top foreign talents.

发帖数: 419 | 8 if we are talking about the osb show, i agree that their show dance is very
lackluster. it would have been better if they just did one of their
competitive routines. i too suspect it has something to do with their busy
teaching schedule. it's a personal choice of them, i guess. makes big money,
not that there's anything wrong with it.
on a related note, i just caught up with the standard potion of osb and was
appalled by the awarding of showdance title to the rock routine. i'm all for
creativity |
