standard. and personality-wise, i have more difficulty dancing latin than
standard. for example, it's hard for me to flirt or touch myself in front
of a crowd. on the other hand, i enjoy watching latin more and i'm more
attracted to latin dancers :)

asked us what's the character of rumba? all gals responded "love", all guys
responded "sex"... i thought it was love as well, but after reading more,
rumba seems to be more about seduction and unattainable passion.

like you, it is so easy to dance stand or smooth for me, compared to latin (
sure there's more tech to learn). I guess one reason is standard dances
generally are slower; even for quicksteps, which is faster, you actually don
't move your body that much as in latin; you hold your posture and just try
to move your feet faster. on the other hand, latin dances are faster and you
move almost every part of your body except yo
