的职位（Asistant professor）的都在招做bioinformatics的，而且有很多是要做Next
Generation Sequencing的。这个也是大数据的东东啊，看来做这个走学术似乎有优势

起码在social science的领域
克服了之前获取数据很难 或者是 样本量很小的问题
在psychology， eco， soci，clinical medicine等用处都很大

is a trend to make data public as long as the privacy in the data is
protected.

p值对他们来说不过是新的算术平均值

发帖数: 444 | 10 Next Gen Sequencing没戏。现在sequencing技术发展太快，Pac Bio的read已经到几千
上万的bp了。再过几年用一个greedy的算法就够了。现在搞的multibridging啥的算法
到时候完全没用。这个总体而言是技术驱动而不是算法驱动的行业，算法只有在技术不
行的时候起到一点弥补作用。read不够长，再高的throughput，再牛的算法也搞不定de
novo的assembly。 |
