and find out I need to use sp_addlinkedsrvlogin. However, when I run it (with
correct inputs) I get,
"Server: Msg 15015, Level 16, State 1, Procedure sp_addlinkedsrvlogin, Line 40
The server 'remoteServerName' does not exist. Use sp_helpserver to show
available servers."
When I run sp_helpserver it only shows the current server I am connected to.
The remote server has already been registered in SQL enterprise manager, | a*******t 发帖数: 891 | 2 solved by using enterprise manager linked server graphical interface :]
