个人喜欢用SQL SSRS，但是公司SQL用的是2000，所以上面两个作选择
有没有从技术上说说有啥差别？哪个用得多是主流？ |

没用过Cognos，没评论。

Cyrstal Report has problem with scheduling; you have to have a 3rd party
tool for automation. Otherwise it is cool, at least it looks better than
SSRS. |

1. It is a great reporting platform and BI tool. Its capacity of reporting
is much bigger than other reporting tools on the market. Personally I think
the only reporting tool than can compete with Cognos is MicroStrategy.
2. Cognos is owned by IBM right now. A big vendor behind a product is a good
advantage. |

1. Framework Manager. This is Cognos data modeling module and application.
Getting that is a big asset for you in designing your reporting. Get this
one first.
2. Report Studio. This is Cognos' normal report authoring tool. Get this one
second. You do not have to have Framework Manager training for this Report
Studio training, but FM will set you at good competitive advantage position
if there are other people competing with you in your company.
3. Cube and Dashboard and other module training. Good to have. You will have
a sense of need of other Cognos trainings after getting into it. |

and drop)。比以前我用过的oracle 的BI publisher 要方便。
cognos 不熟悉， 没用过（BTW， 上个星期跟几个朋友吃饭， 其中一个很牛的ABC，
自己说拥有两家Business Intelligence 公司（做BI 的软件）, 说是cognos 卖给了微
软？ 我记得cognos 是IBM的啊？ |

理由：市场上人少，技术好学，pay的好。cognos admin比dba价性比好太多了。

发帖数: 18555 | 10 但是现在的REPORT都流行ONLINE的,ACCESS和CRYSTAL基本要淘汰了,搞REPORT就没什么
出息,REPORT做好了你走人,做个副业好了 |
