The situation in China is still dire nearly four weeks after a devastating
earthquake struck the Sichuan Province region. The numbers are staggering:
almost 70,000 dead, more than 300,000 injured, and nearly 20,000 still
missing. As for the survivors, many saw their homes reduced to rubble, and
it’s estimated that up to 5 million men, women and children in the region
are now homeless. |
