For example, there is weblogic server for J2EE platform, and weblogic is free.
Is there such a free server for .NET platform?

Today I went to attend the asp.net ms events, I heard they said about no IIS
is nneded for asp.net(-if the requests are local)?
Do you want to learn asp.net or what?
If you use vb.net, nothing to do with IIS bah.
I use VS.net as sdk and MS .net frame is needed.
