c*o 发帖数: 70 | 1 I don't know why every time I start the Visual Studio.net, there will be a
dialogue box saying:
"preparing to install ...", then "please wait while Windows configures Visual
Studio.net academic - English". If I click the "cancel" button, everything is
fine; otherwise, it will take 20 seconds then the vs.net is openned normally.
How to avoid this? BTW, it didn't happen before, but happened after I
reinstalled it. Thank you! | w***s 发帖数: 4 | 2 It is install on demand. You need to select those components to "Run from
local disk" instead of "install on demand" or "run from CD".
Restart your VS.NET installation program, and select all the options to run
from local disk.
Visual

your computer. There is gotta something that haven't finish installation. I
had that problem with MS outlook. And VS.NET might use some MS office
packages.
