EB2 PD 10/2005. I-485 filed in Aug. 2007 while I was working for my previous
employer. Then joined the current employer (big IT company) when
I-485 was pending less than 180 days. My current employer asked the lawyer (
with the big law firm) to have my I-485 ported to my current employer by
sending the supporting letter from the current employer(and some other
needed supporting paperwork I guess).

发帖数: 1987 | 2 我的理解，你换了公司，485递上不到180天就跳槽，并且雇主在180天内取消了你的I140,前一个PERM+140+485就作废了，要重新办PERM，140,485,重新走一便，唯一可以保留的是你的PD。所以律师说要现在的140批才能用上你的老PD。当然，如果你的前雇主在你走后没有及时撤销你的I-140,致使你的前一个485 实际pending超过180天，那你前一个485还是会被批，见http://www.murthy.com/news/UDportme.html。
个人理解，不一定对。

old I-140, and my pending I-485 has been ported to my current employer.
I140,前一个PERM+140+485就作废了，要重新办PERM，140,485,重新走一便，唯一可以
保留的是你的PD。所以律师说要现在的140批才能用上你的老PD。当然，如果你的前雇
主在你走后没有及时撤销你的I-140,致使你的前一个485 实际pending超过180天，那你
前一个485还是会被批，见http://www.murthy.com/news/UDportme.html。

少于180days。就看批你第一个485的IO怎么判断了，要是葫芦官乱判葫芦案，你也就过
了。但是至少我觉得NSC管得还是很严的。

发帖数: 5 | 5 I don't think leaving the previous employer when I-485 pending less than 180
days will make a I-485 ineligible for porting to the new employer. There
have been a lot of discussions on this, to me I think it's portable. And my
lawyer did tell me that AOS Portability has been filed with USCIS.
