get the GC. I guess most of Chinese EB-2/3 should get some promotions

Got GC with no questions. 50% related is a good rule of thumb
your lawyer is an amateur or a liar.

So
they work for the best interest of your company. When there is a conflict of
interest, they talk against you.
So it sounds like an excuse for not giving a promo.
