went down big time.
eb1 used up 40k in 2009 and 2010 because there were a huge number of pending
eb1 received in 2008.
addtionally it takes longer time to approve eb1 140 in this year, but this
factor has limited impact.
the main reason is that 2009 and 2010 has cleared all the eb1 cases received
in 2008.

发帖数: 1162 | 5 in 2007 uscis used tons of visa numbers on India EB2/3 (they appoved 17k
india eb3 in Q4 of 2007) and they were so busy in Q4 of 2007. they got no
time to approve any eb1.
that's why a huge number of eb1 got accumulated in 2007-2008.
luckily they have been cleared in 2009 and 2010. that's why we didn't see
such big jumps in those two years.

before that they just assigned visa numbers randomly.
India EB3 could get 17k visas in 2007. China EB2's demand has not been
really high, but we got stuck in this shit hole because of Indians. I am not
racial, but Indian demand is too high.
