unemployment benefit and you may enjoy even relax for a couple of months
before starting a new job. If you don't have GC...you may have to leave this
county within a month or so OR find a way to stay, things are more
complicated if you have families and house and if everything is relying on
you.....more you could image depending on your situation. Even if going back
is not a bad option for you and your family, you might not be prepared to
do so within a month or so when you are let go.
What else? It is true it is just a GC but that is worth enough for me.
Coming back freely is not that important to me as I don't do so that often.

Different people may get different benefits with GC, some benefits may be
huge to them while minor to others. Some even don't care. Our individuals
are unique in this planet.
We don't pay too much for getting it, at least to me. Life goes as normally
as it could be before I really need to worry too much about being laid off.
Considering how hard, if it is not impossible, if you want to get a Hukou from
some big cities in China as you'd like get good resources for you or family
like kids education and so on.
