My priority date is in the 2nd half of August. On this June 1st, I opened a
SR and today I received an email response for that SR. It states that my 485
has been approved and it will take up to 30 days to get the card. The
online status remains "In Review".
When I checked with the local office on last Friday, the officer told me
that my case was assigned to an IO on May 31st.
Good luck to all those waiting and congratulations to all those who received
. For me this approval is significant. If anyone thinks that, after getting
GC, it's not that significant, then that's not a right line of thought. I
personally consider it like this: We all got eyes, the value of eyes will
become evident when we don't have those. I am not saying GC is as
significant as eyes. Just an analogy. I wish all those who pursue, the best
of luck. In my opinion, it's a worthy effort!
