to submit I-485 next month. Company won't pay I-485 application fee, nor
the attorney fee. Now I am evaluating the possibility of submitting I-485
package by myself. I've found a lot of checklists, already made appointment
for the immigration medical exam and had a lot of documents ready but still
puzzled on how difficult is the process.
Has anyone had any experience? Many thanks to any advices!!! |

But do file it asap b/c the PD may retrogress after Oct.
Try to submit asap so you can get gc in 2 months if you are lucky enough, ot
herwise you may need to wait longer.

发帖数: 340 | 3 I submitted it by myself. Not hard.
Just fill in the forms: 485, 131 and 765.
Attach Employment letter, 140 approval notice, previous I20 forms,copy of
passports,I94, copy of current H1b visa, copy of birth certificate,and medical record (sealed)
Plus, photoes and check.
Read the I485 instruction carefully. Pretty clear and straightforward. |

out those forms.
Relax. You got plenty of time to do so. I don't think there will be any
chance for EB2C to retro to April 2007.

not advisable to submital the I-485 package by an individual, blah, blah,
blah., even she confirms the company won't cover application and attorney
fees.
Sigh.... Big company means less flexibility. And now I may have to wait for
Fragomen to initiate the process. God know when they're going to start the
process. I am doomed.

they don't want any trouble. As long as you have the copy of your 140
approval. You'll have no trouble to DIY. And it's certainly better to DIY
cause no one can slow you down. Just be careful with all the documents &
information you provided. double/triple check.

I do have the I-140 approval. Can anyone confirm the only thing I need is
the employment verification letter?
