green card. I am so eager to visit my family, but the VO told me my visa
clearance had been expired last time. I can't afford being checked again.
I was planning to visit my family in the Spring Festival of 2012, but now it
looks like I can't submit 485 until 2013. It's a pain on the ass.
Time passes by quickly, I got stuck in the same shit hole and can't move.

interview in 2008, the VO was planning to check me again because he said my
visa clearance only lasted for 2 years. He asked me to prepare for 2 months
vacation next time.

I think the US government is using "check" to scare people to travel back to
China and prevent potential technology transfer and information release.
