Thank you everyone for your participation. Please continue with the calls
and spread the word. We are getting good feedback and the calls are working.
Some of the offices which initially started with "not sure" about their
support have told recent callers that they "will support" the bill. Also
some offices have notified IV that they appreciate the thank you calls.
Please note this is how total support for a bill is estimated. Every single
call is noted down. The staffers who handle calls note down how many for and
against calls they received for each bill and then use the following to
tally up how much support a bill approximately has:
Each email is counted as 100 supporters
Each call is counted as 1000 supporters
Each in person visit is counted as 10000 supporters
We have to completely drown out calls against the bill by the opposition. So
those you haven't called yet, please do so today and tomorrow. And those
you have already called, please call again if you have time and also spread
the word. |
