PERM和140上交的时候，都是senior scientist,如果现在被升一级到principle
scientist,但是工作性质不变，485排期未到，会对绿卡申请有影响吗？前一阵看到帖
子说有人公司要升她做manager，她怕对绿卡申请有影响不敢接受。

请有经验的讲一讲。从PERM到485的时间太长了，大家都可能会遇到升职的情况。 | a**w

" stays the same or similar, it should be fine. You can ask your employer to
write a letter verifying that the job duties are the same. It's not
realistic to expect that people WON'T be promoted for such a long time. | c*****n
