10年前）入过党，八九年前出国后就再也没有过交党费及类似活动，按党章算自动退党
。对485 Section 3 Question 6，LD如实回答，并附上已退党的详细说明。没有遇到任

I joined the Chinese Communist Party during college, and was its member from
spring 2000 to Month 200X (I can’t remember exactly when I joined it, and
I don’t have any document to find that information). It was compulsory to
join for academic advancement, and being its member was beneficial to job
hunting, therefore my membership was purely for educational and employment
purposes. I was only a paying member and did not participate in its
activities or belief. In Month 200X I left China for the United States
pursuing advanced academic degree, and have lived in the US since then (
other than some short-term family visits in China). According to its Charter
, I was no longer its member after Month 200X.
