p*****a 发帖数: 3634 | 1 We know that USCIS is not dumb. It does not want to renew the EAD/AP free
for current I-485 filers. That's why they are moving the dates slowly. If it
gets enough application, it can stop the forward move. Unfortunately, that
is not the case. In my opinion, if USCIS moves forward EB2-I for six month
in March, it ideally would get another ~8k application. The fact is - it
will be much less than that - may be half. It is because of the fact that
high demand of 2010 are generally because of "porting" and "cases released
from audit (2005-2009). However, the filing is also down because many of
those filed during that period - changed jobs due to job loss, and refiled
PERM or returned to home country, and also the fact that many of these
filers are single or, in many cases, both husband and wife have EB2 PERM.
The closer you move to 2012 the fact of many single applicant is coming into
picture. All these is likely to keep the demand low. I know some of the
applicants working with me who have just completed 2 years on their first H1
, and are willing to wait & not file I-485 right away. |
