Dear Sir or Madam,
I am filing I-485 to adjust my status from temporary worker (H1B) to
permanent resident. While I understand it may take some time for the
application to be processed, I have to undertake travels outside USA when the application might be still pending. My husband and I plan to visit both our families back in China in summer (July, 2012) and around Christmas time (December, 2012) as well as take a vacation in Europe in March, 2013. Thus I am filing I-131 together with I-485 to apply for an Advanced Parole Document.
