call will be enough most of the time. Make sure you are contacting the
congressman of your district or senators of your state. Otherwise, it may
not work. |

would like some help from the senator/congressman. Then spend some time to
explain your issue politely. Most likely, you will need to fill the privacy
release form and a letter of explanation to his/her office. If you do this
before you call, you can directly ask the assistant whether he/she received
the request.
Be nice and polite. Most of the time, the assistants are very nice and
courteous.
