DREAM Act would boost economy, think tank says

美国进步中心(Center for American Progress)和新美国经济伙伴关係，1日举行电话
会议，公佈「梦想法案(DREAM Act)造福经济」之调查报告。洛杉矶市长维拉戈沙(
Antonio Villaraigosa)到会指出，加州的无证青年超过55万，国会应当及早通过「梦
想法案」，给予无证青年身份合法化的途径。
会议指出，国会倘若通过「梦想法案」，可在2030年前为美国经济增加3290亿元收入和
支持创造140万个就业职位，以及产生超过100亿元的联邦税收。其中，加州估计有超过
55万名无证青年，可以开发出980亿元的经济收入，创造38万4000个
工作职位，有效改善加州的财务状况。 |
