Dear Honorable Senator Rubio,
Compared with the 11 million undocumented immigrations, there are only 300,
000 employment-based immigrants who have been waiting for their green card
for years, while respectfully paying their taxes and abiding by all laws.
Many green cards that should have been awarded to these documented
immigrants were wasted by officers in USCIS and the Department of State due
to their mishandlings.
Please ensure that the CIR allows the employment-based immigrants to
recapture the number of green cards that they should have received in the
past years if officers in USCIS and the Department of State had worked
efficiently and correctly.

Respected and Dear Senator Rubio.
First of all, thanks for taking our input. It seems that you are the first
one who cared to do so.
I am in the Legal green card Queue for over 8 years now.
I am a professional with family in USA.
We want to invest in USA, buy house, buy better bigger car (minivan) and
invest in share markets.
We have enough money saved, to fulfill all we want.
But we are holding back.
What if the greencard is denied.
There is immense pressure on me by my extended family in India to invest the
money in India, buy properties in India, buy fixed deposit schemes in India
which will give great annual returns, invest in small business development
in India etc. etc.
I am not doing it.
I still want to invest in USA as I believe in USA and it is the country
where I want my future generations to live and grow.
Please tell me how long will I be able to resist my families and see my
money sitting idle in USA banks, waiting for the Congress.
You cared enough to ask for our opinion.
Now please help us cut this Gordian Knot on Legal Immigration

Senator Rubio,
As a lifelong conservative Republican, I applaud your efforts on this bill.
I strongly believe that we need as many of these people as we can get from
the highly educated to the ones wiling to do the farm work. Especially
people like you and your family. Please keep working to make this bill as
inclusive and flexible as possible.

Dear All,
It gives me immense pleasure to be given an opportunity to comment on the
CIR bill. As a non-Voting Person, I would want to have a re-look on
Providing work authorization to H-4. Having giving us a ray of hope and then
masking it by saying we would be given EAD only if the Countries we hail
from reciprocates the same. Sirs, is this really justifiable? We have been
under Bonded house lock for this is our only hope. Kindly give us some
liberty. We would love to contribute to the growing economy of the country.
Kindly help us and give us a ray of hope. please provide us with at least
part-time work authorization. We will be immensely grateful to you.

Senator,
I have two Master's degree in STEM from USA and have been waiting for over
15 years for green card in the Eb3 category. This bill should be ammended
for those who are waiting in line legally. There are over 100,000 employment
based green card waiters in line ahead of me from India. Per country limit
should be removed from the current legal employment based immigration or
should atleast be removed for those who have a STEM degree/degrees in USA.
Small technology companies and overseas IT companies are abusing the legal
immigration system by bringing workers at lower wages from china and india.
They should be restricted by not allowing them to obtain a h1b visa if 50%
or more of their workers are on h1b visa. They are also abusing the L1 visa
by brining in overseas managers who are currently allowed to apply under Eb1
category. All of this must stop. Those who get educated, have a job, pay
taxes and wait in line should get the opportunity first.
I hope you can ammend the bill accordingly.

Dear Senator Rubio,
I want to start out by thanking you for all of your hard work and dedication
to this important issue of immigration reform. Your video is so very
helpful in explaining some of the details of the new law.
After watching I have some questions:
When do you think the law will be voted on? Our attorney said within the
next 3 weeks; is that right?
Why does it have to be 10 to 15 years until one can secure a green card? My
boyfriend has been here illegally for 7 years. He has been paying taxes all
along. He is model citizen and takes care of his family members. If he has
wait 10 years for a green card he will not stay. We want to build a life and
expand our business together but if he can't have an identity he can't
achieve his goals. I don't understand the 10 to 15 year wait plan and with
that it were not so.
