我的背景：
1）美国一般般学校Ph.D.冷门工程专业，与能源，效率挂钩
2）14篇文章杂志加会议（1篇是中文）
还有1篇文章 in revision, 希望尽快能发表，可以凑个数。
8次篇会议 presentation
5个州立项目报告+1EPA项目 和老板合作申请的
3）citation很少， 他引才2-4个，加上自引才7-10个。 领域太传统了，最好的杂志IF
0,509 topic不热门。
4）review 有2篇，是1个期刊的。
5）2个专利file上了，一个本地电台有报道，正在前期商业推广。
6）6个推荐人可以帮写推荐信
劣势明显，非常非常少的引用和review，这个是找律师还是可以自己DIY啊？

发帖数: 1994 | 5 我觉得NIW引用不是硬指标。我把我的RFE 贴在这， 基本可以领会到NIW 的要点。照着
这个RFE 写petiton 就行。 NIW 申请一点都不难， 如果找律师做NIW纯粹是浪费金钱
和自己的健康， LZ 的条件没问题， 好好包装就行了。
The petitioner must establish that the national interest would not be served
if the petitioner was required to obtain a labor certificate for the
proposed employment. You submitted witness letters to show that some fellow
scientists in the field consider you an excellent researcher. Please submit
additional evidence to establish that the beneficiary’s past record
justifies projects of future benefit to the nation.
The petitioner must persuasively demonstrate that the national interest
would be adversely affected if a labor certification were required. The
petitioner must demonstrate that it would be contrary to the national
interest to potentially deprive the prospective employer of the beneficiary
’s services by making the position available to U.S. workers.
The petitioner must establish that the beneficiary has a past record of
specific prior achievement with some degree of influence on the filed as
whole. The beneficiary’s previous influence on the filed as a whole must
justify projections of future benefit to the national interest. The
petitioner must establish, in some capacity, the beneficiary’s ability to
serve the national interest to a substantially greater extent than the
majority of others in the field. For example, the petitioner may submit
copies of the beneficiary’s patents and copyrights; grant proposals; peer
reviewed articles; performance evaluations for the last five to ten years;
work that has been evaluated in independent journals; and awards for work in
the field. Any awards for work in the field must be accompanied by a
statement from the institution that granted the award, commenting on the
number of awards given, the frequency of the award, the criteria for
granting the award, and the number of individuals eligible to compete for
the award.
The petitioner must establish that the beneficiary’s skills or background
are unique and innovative and serve the national interest. If the
beneficiary possesses any special skills, knowledge or abilities that could
not be articulated on an application for labor certification, the petitioner
must submit evidence to demonstrate these special skills, knowledge or

review过别人的文章，当时就一个硕士学位，博士都还没拿到，我的NIW二十多天就批

发帖数: 267 | 7 论文数量够了，但引用是硬伤。你得想办法强调引用的重要性。
Review太少，这个是能最快提高的。重点努力。
在推荐人上面下功夫，尽量多的独立推荐人，且尽量分布在不同地区。从而强调你的影
响性
