I graduated with a Ph.D. degree from xxxxx University in Mechanical
Engineering. Since 2011, I have been working as a principal engineer in CA.
The following list summarizes my publications, review experiences and
citations:
Papers:
1. 3.5 Journal papers: one (first author) in Chinese, 0.5 first author in
English (kind of conference but paper was put into a publication, two second
author in English.
2. 4 Conference papers: all first author.
Citations:
about 12 including self-citations;
Reviews:
2 journal and 1 conference .
Right now, my employer is helping me get PERM (eb2b) but it looks hopeless
long. Would you please evaluate my case?
What should I DO? |

NIW a try won't hurt. |

大家一直在这里说6、7年能拿到绿卡，毕竟那是从PERM开始算的，看看这个版上有多少
帖子抱怨H1B 6年的期限已经到了，但是PERM还没批就知道了。从工作到绿卡下来看看
，我看这个版上一半的人要超过10年。

The number of first-author papers and citations is not a problem at all for
NIW. The key is "national interest".
