Anybody can confrim the meaning of Perm case number? For example A-12345-
xxxxx, 12 means 2012, 234 means the 234 day in 2012. Is that right? My PERM
application was submitted in 2013, but I got a case number A-10xxx-xxxxx.
I ask the legal in our company, she said that was not a concern and refused
to help me to check if the number if right.
Does anybody have similar issue? thank you. |

发帖数: 30 | 2 这里有详细的perm number 解释 http://dolstats.com/info/a_number，我是13年11月file的perm，我的A后面的数字是13 （ A-13311-XXXXX 这是我的perm号，省略了后面几位）
For example #A-12001-XXXXXX. "A" means that it's a perm application case.
Five digital part consists of a two-digit number for the year of the
application coming first (12 stands for 2012), followed by a three-digit
number meaning the exact day of the year. |

你检查的时候没看看？
这个A-number是创建case时候分配的，所以对应的是创建时间不是提交时间
不过你这个A-10还是太奇怪了
除非律师用了一个他2010年创建的case来继续你的申请

发帖数: 576 | 7 I did not get an ETA-9089 form. The legal forwarded an email including the
case number and in the email:
"this is a confirmation email that the ETA form 9089 - application for
permanent employment certification for company name sponsoring my name for
the postion of xxx (case number A-10xxx-xxxxx)..."
Actually I did not know the meaning of case number until yesterday I found
it online. I found that not only the year was wrong, but also the date.
Thanks for your information.
My boss wants me to provide an official website which explains the meaning
of case number. I could not find one, anybody can share? thank you.
I got the information from http://dolstats.com/, but it is not official.
