Of course promotion is OK, but everything will start over. PD is same.

If your future occupational title and duties are more than 50% different
than the position which we applied the PERM under, then you will need a new
PERM application to reflect the change in duties. If the duties are more
than 50% similar, then you can keep the PERM application. This
determination is a somewhat subjective determination. |
